ROCK HILL, SC – On Sunday February 23, 2014, the Kappa Alpha Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., held its annual Dr. Dewey Duckett, Sr. Talent Hunt Scholarship Program at Saint Mary Catholic Church.
5 students from local high schools entered the competition: Mr. Mackenzie Hughes of South Pointe High School; Ms. Najha Feemster of York Comprehensive High School; Mr. Jordan Leach of Northwestern High School, Ms. Jessica Robinson of South Pointe High School and Mr. Tigeress Rainey of Rock Hill High School.

Robinson was named the winner of the 2014 Talent Hunt and will represent Kappa Alpha Chapter during the 69th Annual Meeting in Spartanburg, SC. She will received a $500 dollar scholarship to any four year college or university of her choice.

Hughes finished 2nd while Rainey finished 3rd respectively.

2 junior competitors, Miss Olivia Ratliff of Indian Hook Elementary and Miss Baton King of Lewisville Middle School provided entertainment during the intermission.
